A War of Two Worlds!

Long ago, I dreamed a dream of mythology,
it took place on the shore of an ancient Sea;
betwixt material land and unconscious Ocean,
I was in a medieval army facing invasion!

The enemy emerged from unconscious depths,
two sides met where the waves crashed;
battling in the tide of foam and myst,
upon my horse with swords enmeshed!
~
Suddenly my leader surprised us all,
"throw down your weapons", he did call.
Thus, I was put to the sword and fell,
death in the Ocean's baptismal swell!
